Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the personal data collected and processed by Squadraft (hereinafter, "Squadraft", "we", or "the app"), operated by Ignacio Montaldi (national ID available upon request from the enforcement authority), reachable at support@squadraft.app, when you use the Squadraft mobile application.
Squadraft operates under the Argentine Personal Data Protection Act (Law No. 25,326) and its complementary regulations, and under the Argentine Consumer Defense Act (Law No. 24,240).
1. Data we collect
1.1 Data you provide to us
- Account data: email address, username, and password (stored encrypted). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email, name, and a unique identifier from the provider.
- Profile picture (optional): image you upload from your device.
- Group data: group name, list of members, assigned roles.
- Match and statistics data: teams, goals, assists, results, match history.
- Support communications: any information you send us via email or support channels.
1.2 Data we collect automatically
- Minimal technical data: IP address (only at the time of the request; not stored persistently), device type, operating system version, application version.
- Access logs: date and time of sign-in and of critical operations (such as group configuration changes), retained for security and audit purposes.
Squadraft does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not profile users for advertising purposes.
2. Purposes of processing
We use your data solely to:
- Provide you with group management, matches, statistics, and team drafting services.
- Authenticate you and protect your account.
- Process your Pro plan subscription when applicable.
- Respond to your support inquiries.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights of Squadraft or third parties.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the following bases:
- Your consent when creating an account and accepting this Policy.
- The performance of the contract between you and Squadraft (the Terms of Service).
- Applicable legal obligations.
- Legitimate interest in maintaining the security and integrity of the service.
4. Who we share your data with
Squadraft does not sell or transfer your data for commercial purposes. We share it only with the following providers, to the extent strictly necessary to operate the service:
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC: for authentication via Google Sign-In and for the support@squadraft.app mail service (Google Workspace). policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple Inc.: if you sign in with Apple. apple.com/legal/privacy
- MercadoPago (Mercado Libre S.R.L.): to process payments for the Pro plan subscription. Squadraft does not store your card data; MercadoPago receives it directly and only shares with us a transaction identifier and its status. mercadopago.com.ar/privacidad
- Cloudflare, Inc.: as a content delivery network and DNS protection provider.
Your profile, match, and statistics data are stored on servers managed by Squadraft. We do not transfer data to other third parties except when required by a court order or a competent authority.
5. International data transfers
Google, Apple, and Cloudflare may store and process data in countries outside Argentina. These providers apply data protection standards equivalent to or higher than those required by Argentine law.
6. Data retention
- Account data and user-generated content: while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.
- Access and audit logs: up to 12 months.
- Billing and payment data: for the term required by applicable tax legislation (minimum 10 years in Argentina).
- Backups: system backups retain data for up to 14 days (daily), 8 weeks (weekly), and 12 months (monthly) after account deletion; they are then overwritten.
7. Your rights
As the data subject, you have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: request correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability: receive a structured copy of your data.
You can exercise these rights:
- From within the app (self-service account deletion under Settings → Account → Delete account).
- Or by writing to support@squadraft.app; we respond within 10 business days.
Enforcement authority: you have the right to file complaints with the
Access to Public Information Agency (AAIP), the Argentine data protection authority under Law 25,326:
argentina.gob.ar/aaip.
8. Security
We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), password storage with hashing (bcrypt), server access control, encrypted automated backups, and audit logs. No security measure is foolproof; if you discover a vulnerability, please write to support@squadraft.app.
9. Minors
Squadraft is intended for users aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, you may not register an account or use the app. If we detect an account created by a minor, we will proceed with its deletion.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will publish the date of the last update at the top of the document and notify substantial changes within the app or by email.
